Mandatory Suspensions

and Revocations

Mandatory Suspensions and Revocations

The Illinois Secretary of State maintains a list of reasons why a person’s driver’s license will be suspended or revoked. The reasons identified on this list are causes of mandatory suspension or revocation of a driver’s license. If you commit one of these violations, your driver’s license will be suspended or revoked.

Note, however, that after a revocation is entered upon a person’s record, a reinstatement date will be established. Once the reinstatement date arrives, Harter & Schottland can help you hold a successful hearing and reinstate your driver’s license.

Moreover, even before the reinstatement eligibility date arrives, a person may be eligible for a restricted driving permit. A suspended driver may also be eligible for a restricted driving permit. Harter & Schottland is experienced in obtaining restricted driving permits, as well as full reinstatement hearings. We have helped hundreds of people get their driver’s license back.

Call today for a free evaluation. We will determine the basis of the revocation in your case and whether you are eligible for reinstatement or a restricted driving permit. The meeting is free and it is the first step to getting your driving privileges back.
